Multiply your Length by width x depth (Inches) and divide by 27 = # of yards.

How much sod do I need?

The high quality sod provided by North Edmonton Landscaping is rolls measured by 2’ X 5” or 10 Square feet. First measure your yard (length X width) = total square feet. If you have an irregular shaped yard, you may wish to break it down into smaller rectangular or square shapes to make the calculation easier. Add all together to get the total square feet. Once you have this number divide by 10 to calculate the number of rolls.

Should I roll my new sod?

Rolling your new sod reduces any lumps and pushes the roots into the soil so they take sooner. Makes for a more uniform & smooth lawn.
